What is Google Pay Tap to Pay?
Google Pay Tap to Pay lets you use your PalawanPay Visa Card to pay using your Android phone.
Kapag na-add mo na ang card mo, tap mo lang ang phone sa payment terminal ng stores na tumatanggap ng contactless payments.
Sino ang puwedeng gumamit ng Google Pay Tap to Pay?
Puwede mong gamitin if:
- May active PalawanPay Visa Virtual Card ka
- Android phone ang gamit mo
- Supported ng phone mo ang NFC
- Updated ang Google Wallet app mo
- May screen lock ang phone mo, like PIN, pattern, password, fingerprint, or face unlock
Paano ko i-add ang PalawanPay Visa Virtual Card ko?
- Open your PalawanPay app
- In the Cards section, click the Tap to Pay GPay button
- Then click the Add to Google Wallet from the screen
- Review and accept the terms.
- Complete the verification steps, if needed.
Bakit hindi ko ma-add ang card ko?
Here are some possible reasons:
- Hindi updated ang PalawanPay app or Google Wallet app mo
- Hindi supported ng phone mo ang NFC
- Naka-off ang NFC
- Walang screen lock ang phone mo
- Inactive, blocked, expired, or not eligible ang card mo
- May temporary system or connection issue
Try mo munang i-update ang apps, i-on ang NFC, check ang internet connection, and make sure na active ang card mo.
Paano ko malalaman if successfully added na ang card ko?
Makikita mo ang PalawanPay Visa Virtual Card mo sa Google Wallet app.
You may also receive a SMS and other notifications saying na ready na ang card mo for contactless payments.
Paano magbayad using Google Pay Tap to Pay?
- Make sure naka-on ang NFC.
- Unlock your phone.
- Tap your phone near the contactless terminal.
- Wait for the checkmark or payment confirmation.
Saan ko puwedeng gamitin ang Google Pay Tap to Pay?
Puwede mong gamitin ang Google Pay Tap to Pay sa stores or merchants na tumatanggap ng contactless payments or may Google Pay symbol.
This will still depend on the merchant’s terminal and if supported ang transaction.
Safe ba gamitin ang Google Pay Tap to Pay?
Yes. Google Pay Tap to Pay has security features that help protect your card details.
Kapag nagbayad ka, hindi shine-share sa merchant ang actual card number mo. A digital version of your card is used instead.
Make sure lang na secure ang PalawanPay account, phone, and Google account mo.
Ano ang gagawin ko if nawala or nanakaw ang phone ko?
Secure your PalawanPay account and Google account right away.
You may also use Google’s Find My Device to lock or erase your phone.

Paano ko i-remove ang card ko?
You can remove your card from the Google Wallet app.
- Open Google Wallet.
- Select your PalawanPay Visa Card.
- Tap the options menu.
- Choose Remove payment method.
- Confirm the removal.
Ano ang gagawin ko if failed ang transaction ko?
Please check the following:
- Unlocked ba ang phone mo?
- Naka-on ba ang NFC?
- Google Wallet ba ang default contactless payment app mo?
- Active ba ang PalawanPay Visa Card mo?
- May enough balance ba?
- Tumatanggap ba ang merchant ng contactless payments?
- Updated ba ang Google Wallet app mo?
Na-deduct ang balance ko, pero sabi ng merchant hindi raw received ang payment. Ano ang gagawin ko?
Please do not try again right away para maiwasan ang possible duplicate charge.
Check your PalawanPay transaction history. If successful ang transaction, show the transaction details to the merchant and ask them to check on their end.
If hindi pa rin resolved, contact PalawanPay Customer Support and provide:
- Transaction date and time
- Merchant name
- Transaction amount
- Screenshot ng transaction details
- Receipt or error message from the merchant, if available
Paano ako magre-request ng refund?
Please contact the merchant first.
The merchant handles order cancellations, returns, and refund approval. PalawanPay and Google Pay only process the payment.

Please contact us immediately.
You should also:
- Secure your PalawanPay account
- Change your password or PIN, if needed
- Check if your phone or Google account was accessed by someone else
- Remove your card, if needed
